Australia’s World Cup winner makes himself available for only four games in the IPL 2026
The IPL 2026 auction will take place on December 16 in Abu Dhabi
Australian Cricket Team wicket-keeper batter Josh Inglis had made himself available for only four games in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. As per the reports in Cricbuzz, it is learned that the right-hander has already informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) of his restricted availability for IPL 2026.
Josh Inglis is all set to get married next year his wedding will clash with IPL 2026. Hence, he wrote to BCCI stating that he will be available for only 25 per cent of IPL 2026. The keeper-batter has made franchises aware of the same too and has set himself a base price of INR 2 crore after he was released by the Punjab Kings.
Josh Inglis had a decent time with the bat in the IPL 2025. He slammed 278 runs in 11 games including 73 off 42 balls against the Mumbai Indians. Also, in Qualifier 2, he slammed Jasprit Bumrah for 20 runs in one over to seal Punjab Kings' berth in the final.
A total of 1,355 players have registered for the IPL 2026 auction
With him being available for just four games, Josh Inglis is unlikely to fetch a bid. The right-hander is currently part of the ongoing Ashes Test at the Gabba. He replaced injured Usman Khawaja in the XI.

The above-mentioned players are unlikely to fetch a deal in the auction. The IPL 2026 auction will take place on December 16 in Abu Dhabi. A total of 1,355 players have registered for the auction and only 77 slots are available.
