IND vs AUS 3rd ODI 2023: After convincingly owning the first two games of the three-match series against Australia, Team India would aim for a clean sweep as they take guard in the IND vs AUS 3rd ODI 2023. The upcoming third ODI will see Team India have a number of changes in their squad. This article will lead you through Changes in India Squad for 3rd ODI against Australia.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had announced two separate squads for the three-match ODI series against Australia. The first squad was set to take on Australia in the opening two ODIs, while the second squad would compete in the final fixture of the series, which will be held on September 27 in Rajkot.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023-bound senior players were rested for the opening two games, but the fans will see their return in the India vs Australia 3rd ODI.

The likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, and Kuldeep Yadav were given a brief breather to catch their breath before the all-important ICC World Cup 2023, which begins on October 5. The move aimed at avoiding burnout in the squad, especially with such an important global event lined ahead.

The young players were given the opportunity as the senior pros enjoyed their short vacation. The likes of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Prasidh Krishna, Tilak Varma, and Mukesh Kumar were included in the squad. However, the aforementioned names will move out of the India squad for the third ODI.

Notably, Jasprit Bumrah, who was initially included in all three ODIs against Australia, was released from the Indian squad by the BCCI during the second ODI. The ace pacer didn’t travel to Indore with the team but will join his mates directly in Rajkot.

Team India will take on Australia in the 3rd One Day International (ODI), which is a dead rubber as India has already sealed the series by winning the first two ODIs. The third fixture will be staged on 27th September in Rajkot’s Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Below are the details of Changes in India Squad for 3rd ODI against Australia.
