Shreyas Iyer: Delhi Capitals (DC) regular skipper Shreyas Iyer will be in the first place to get retained ahead of the IPL 2022. Ever since he picked the captaincy roles for the franchise, he has turned the fortunes into their favour.

Rishabh Pant: The franchise will also place its cards to retain southpaw Rishabh Pant. The wicketkeeper-batsman is the captain of this year’s IPL, as Iyer was ruled out, and is likely to continue his role until the end of the season.

Shikhar Dhawan: The left-handed opener Shikhar Dhawan has shown great confidence in his batting and is consistently improving in it. The cricketer is leading the run-getters chart in the IPL 2021 and is likely to get retained.

Kagiso Rabada: Amongst all the batters, pacer Kagiso Rabada comes up to be a probable option to get retained. The South African pacer has been their key in the bowling department and DC won’t try to lose it anyhow.
