But does he have the caliber of Wasim-Waqar? So, why has it happened?&nbsp;



<h2>Lack of Inspiration:&nbsp;</h2>



Lack of inspiration is one of the biggest reasons why Pakistani fast bowling is on the decline. We have seen Wasim and Waqar getting inspired by Imran Khan. Imran Khan groomed these pacers before leaving the international circuit. Wasim and Waqar groomed players like Asif, Amir, and Shoaib before leaving. &nbsp;



But did Asif and Amir carry on the legacy? I?m not talking about their unfortunate incident in England. Every player makes mistakes and they did that as well. But they should have at least been keen on giving their skills to younger pacers. Maybe make academies in the local areas of Pakistan. &nbsp;



<h2>Lack of Scouting has Cost Pakistani Fast Bowlers:&nbsp;</h2>



Earlier, the Pakistani coaches had an eye for good players. Shoaib Akhtar was picked from the grounds of Rawalpindi. Earlier they had an elite scouting system. Rashid Latif was once in charge of the academy which worked on grooming these young pacers. The MRF Pace Foundation also needs to have a vast expanse in the small towns of Pakistan. The MRF organization is a Chennai-based organization. India and Pakistan have their differences but for the growth of the sport, they need to keep these differences aside. &nbsp;



<h2>Injury management has Costs Pakistani Fast Bowlers:&nbsp;</h2>



In India, the NCA has introduced strong plans for the rehabilitation of injured players. The NCA has worked especially on injury-prone players like Hardik Pandya and Deepak Chahar. A similar structure can be introduced by the PCB. The PCB management is working on such a world-class system or world-class academy under the supervision of Ramiz Raja. Hasan Ali, Mohammad Irfan, and Mohammad Abbas are players who could have had longer careers if their injuries could be managed. &nbsp;



During the World Cup of 2003, Shoaib Akhtar was having pain in his knees. The Pakistani physio during those days made sure that Shoaib plays the game against India in full bloom. These are characters whose contributions go unnoticed. Such characters, help in making legends. &nbsp;

Waqar, who played 349 international games for the Shaheens, reflected on which players should board Pakistan's flight for the West Indies and the USA as the players will be anticipated to play an important role in helping the Shaheens lift their second T20 World Cup trophy.



Currently playing the role of the commentator in the ongoing five match T20i series between New Zealand and Pakistan, the 52 year old was asked which players he will pick for the T20 World Cup.

I feel that our team will need a mystery spinner as well and Abrar Ahmed can play that role perfectly. Pakistan National Cricket Team: Former Pakistani skipper Rashid Latif has made a sensational claim that he's going to expose the dark secrets of match-fixing. He claimed that he will expose everything about the period when match-fixing was at its peak. Latif played for the Pakistan Men's National Team from 1992 to 2003 in his career. 
He is going to expose everything related to Pakistan match fixing history in his upcoming book and also went on to say that those players who were involved in match fixing should not be a part of Pakistan Cricket.

In the 'Harna Mana Hai' broadcast on Geo News, the 56-year-old had also singled out a few former players without revealing their identities. He claimed that because the players of the 1990s didn't spare Pakistan cricket, it took the team 17 long years to lift the world Cup Trophy for the second time
"The current players will only attempt to win games if the players of the 1990s are kept apart from the squad and team management. I'm from the 1990s, too. They have been serving Pakistan Cricket for a very long duration. Thus, I believe it'stime for them to take some rest.

At present, the Pakistan Cricket Team is being ridiculed all over the world. After a long gap of 29 years, the nation got the chance to host an ICC tournament and they made elaborate preparations for it, but the players failed to live upto the expectations of the fans.
