The once in four year tournament, will unfold on October 5 and it would be electrifying for the fans to see it. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) a few weeks ago announced the complete schedule for the World Cup 2023, however, recently it was updated that there could be some tweaks in the original schedules due to security threats. 



The BCCI secretary, Jay Shah, has also called a meeting with the 10 staging venue chairman regarding their views on changes in the schedule for the World Cup 2023. Furthermore, the BCCI is also looking for recommendation from all the venues in order to fix the ticket pricing for the tournament. 



"Three members have written to the ICC for a schedule change. Only the dates and timings will be changed, venues will not be changed. If there is a six-day gap between games, we are trying to reduce it to 4-5 days. The picture will be clear in three-four days. Changes will happen in consultation with the ICC," Shah was quoted as saying by India Today.?



If the reports are to be believed, the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 tickets sale will go live by August 10. By then, all the member associations hosting the coveted event will fix their individual ticket pricing for the tournament.



Meanwhile, Kolkata's Eden Gardens was the first stadium which finalised its ticket pricing and announced it publically a few weeks ago. The lowest ticket price for an India game in Eden Gardens is set at Rs 900 and the highest price at Rs 3000 for premium seats.
