Former Australian wicket-keeper <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Gilchrist" data-type="link" data-id="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Gilchrist">Adam Gilchrist</a> also feels that the coming series will be very tough and it is not easy to predict the winner. However, he reckons that Australia need to win the series to carry on their home dominance because they have failed to do it in the last two home series against <a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/category/cricket-team/icc-teams/india/" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/category/cricket-team/icc-teams/india/">India</a>.



Gilchrist said in an interview with TOI, ?It is going to be another tough series for both teams. Onus is on <a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/category/cricket-team/icc-teams/australia/" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/category/cricket-team/icc-teams/australia/">Australia </a>to prove they are the dominant force at home. Naturally, I am going to say Australia; I hope they get there. But it is too close to call. It will be a close tussle."

That's why Pat Cummins and his men are desperate to win the BGT title. A number of Australian players have spoken about the importance of the series win against India.
