<a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/?s=Pakistan" rel="nofollow">Pakistan Women's</a> Central Contracts 2023-25: <a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/?s=Babar+Azam" rel="nofollow">Babar Azam </a>and Nida Dar's match fees will be equal, and both the Men's and Women's Teams will receive the same match fees:?The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the new central contracts list of Pakistan women. Sidra Ameen and Muneeba Ali got promoted in the new central contract list. 



Sidra Ameen?s promotion from Category C to Category A marks a significant improvement among Pakistani women players in the new central contract list. As per the new contract list, both men?s and women?s players will get the same match fees.



PCB announced four contract categories for Pakistan?s women. Category A has three players, Category B has four players, Category C has five players, and Category D has eight players.



Bismah Maroof, <a href="https://www.icccricketschedule.com/?s=Nida+Dar" rel="nofollow">Nida Dar</a>, and Sidra Amin are in the top PCB central contracts category. Outstanding performance in recent Sidra Ameen matches helped him improve his category from C to A. Captain Bismah Marrof and Nidar Dar remain in Category A in the new central contract list.



A Young wicketkeeper batter Muneeba Ali?s exceptional performance in T20I cricket led to her upgrade from Category C to B. PCB removed Javeria Khan, Ayesha Naseem, and Anam Amin from the new contract list. PCB demoted Diana Baig to category C from B due to injury, and he spent more time out of the team.

PCB created a new Category for emerging players in the new contract list. PCB signed a contract with four new players for the upcoming series. Anoosha Nasir, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Umm-e-Hani, and Eyman Fatima have received their first contract in Category D for the Pakistan national women?s team.



Pakistan women will play the upcoming ODI series against South African women at home. Pakistan women will play the Three-match T20I series and Three-Match ODI series against South African women from 1 September 2023 to 14 September 2023.

PAK vs WI: Two of Pakistan's prominent women cricketers have suffered minor injuries in a car accident that happened on Friday. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on Saturday, confirmed the injury reports and declared both the cricketers safe following the accident.



Bismah Maroof and Ghulam Fatima suffered injuries in the accident, which are learnt to be minor. The PCB, in its statement, also revealed that both the cricketers underwent CT scans to rule out the chances of concussions and fortunately have come out clear, nor do they have any other serious injury concerns.



"Despite sustaining minor injuries, both players received immediate first aid and are currently under the care of the PCB medical team. The two players [Bismah Maroof and Ghulam Fatima] also underwent precautionary CT Scans, which came out clear," said PCB in a <a href="https://www.pcb.com.pk/press-release-detail/update-on-pakistan-women-cricketers.html">statement</a>.

Notably, the two involved Pakistan cricketers were part of the probable list of players to take on West Indies in the upcoming home white ball series, starting in April. 



Pakistan will host West Indies for a three-match ODI series followed by a five-game T20I series in April 2024. The tour will begin on April 18 at the National Stadium in Karachi.



Both Maroof and Fatima were part of Pakistan's ODI setup that toured New Zealand in December 2023. While Maroof scored 82 runs in three ODIs, which included an 86-ball 68-run knock, Ghulam Fatima scalped 6 wickets in her three outings, which included a four-fer.



Pakistan's ODI leg against New Zealand ended in a defeat with a scoreline of 2-1 to the Kiwis.

A surprising announcement from Pakistan Cricket breached the internet, with former Pakistan women's team skipper Bismah Maroof announcing her retirement from all forms of cricket, effective immediately.



The 32-year-old Bismah Maroof has captained the T20I Pakistan women's team since 2016 and then also replaced Sana Mir in the ODI leadership of the national women's team.



Making her debut in 2006 when she was just a 15-year girl and over his lustrous career for as Pakistani player, she represented the nation in as many as 276 international matches.

In her long 18-year career, she played 140 T20I matches and 136 ODI matches where she scored 2893 runs in T20Is and 3369 runs in ODIs. She led the national Women's T20I side in 62 outings and won 26 in those. Pakistan Women's Team played 32 ODI under her leadership winning 16 out of those. She flexed the best winning percentage ever recorded as Pakistan Women's captain in both forms.



Not only with her bat and mind, Maroof also got Pakistan's back with the ball in her hands. She bowled as a leg spinner and picked up 80 wickets for Pakistan across the two formats.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Pakistan Skipper Bismah Maroof Announced Retirement</h2>



?I have decided to retire from the game I love the most. It has been an incredible journey, filled with challenges, victories, and unforgettable memories," Maroof said in her statement released by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).



With a post on X.com (Twitter), Bismah announced her retirement. She wrote "For 17 years, cricket has been not just a sport but a passion, a dream fulfilled, and a journey of growth beyond measure. With a mixture of emotions, I bid farewell to the incredible journey of representing Pakistan on the international stage."



"From those early days to now retiring after playing for almost 2 decades, I collected a treasure trove of beautiful memories. To the Pakistan Cricket Board, captains, coaches, teammates, support staff, friends, family, and my dear husband, I extend my deepest gratitude."
