Veteran Indian off-spinner named Indian captain Rohit Sharma as the most difficult batter to bowl in the last 4 overs in T20I. His comments came after the senior opener’s heroics in the third T20I against Afghanistan at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru.

Ravichandran Ashwin in a video posted on his YouTube channel said that Rohit Sharma if set is impossible to bowl in the last 5 overs. He said that every bowler in the world would struggle to bowl to the Indian captain in the last phase of the innings.

Rohit Sharma proved that during the last T20I against Afghanistan. Coming into the match, he was under a lot of pressure because he registered two ducks in the first two games. He looked a bit tentative at the start as the team lost 4 wickets for just 22 runs and was under a lot of pressure.

However, skipper Rohit Sharma stepped up big time for the team. He first bailed the team out of trouble and once he was set he didn’t look back. He smashed Afghanistan bowlers all over the park and made sure that he marked his comeback in T20Is in style.

Rohit along with Rinku Singh (69*) added 190 runs in partnership with Rinku Singh (69*) as India posted a gigantic total of 212 runs on the board. The match went down the wire and saw two super-overs being played. In the end, it was India, who clinched the game and won the second super over

The duo of Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin will be next seen in action for India together. They will be playing in the five-match Test series against England, starting 25th January. The duo would be crucial for the team in the series as a lot would be dependent on them.

Rohit Sharma at the top with the bat will have to play a huge role for India whereas R Ashwin will have to do major damage with the ball. If they both shine with the ball for India, it’s fair to say that team will favourite to win the series
