IND vs WI: It was an utter disappointment for the Indian team in the first game as despite being in the winning position they lost the game. India set a target of just 150 runs to chase. At one moment they were cruising but lost wickets in clusters at the end to lose the game by the margin of 4 wickets.
Despite failing in the first game, Shubman Gill is likely to get a longer run in the T20Is because he has proved his worth. On the other hand, his opening partner Ishan Kishan’s place might be in jeopardy as his numbers in the last few games aren’t impressive and we might see Yashasvi Jaiswal making his debut in the second game.
Suryakumar Yadav scored 21 runs in the first game but wasn’t at his fluent best. But he’s expected to retain their place at No.3 as he has been exceptional in whatever games they have played for India. Tilak Varma was the best batter for India in the last game as he set the stage on fire in his debut outing. He will be batting at No.4 in the second game as well.

With no Ishan Kishan, Sanju Samson, who was run out in the last game, will be the keeper in the team and is expected to be slotted at No.5. Skipper Hardik Pandya is expected to play a crucial role with the ball as well at No.6 whereas Axar Patel will be the second all-rounder in the team.
Indian spin twin Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal did exceptionally well in the first game and it is likely that the team will continue with them whereas Arshdeep Singh along with Mukesh Kumar, who made debut in the last game, are also likely to retain their spots.
