The game will be played at The Oval, from 7th to 11th June. The focus will be on the skipper Rohit Sharma as the entire nation would be backing him to get the ICC Trophy. He along with Virat Kohli has been the backbone of the team for a while and would want to set the stage on fire.

While there was no doubt about the ability of Rohit Sharma as a player in the white ball, he was yet to prove his prowess in Test cricket. But ever since he started opening in Tests, he set the stage on fire and is one of the finest openers going in world cricket.

Rohit Sharma has become India’s most reliable batter in the Tests of late. He averages 52.76 with 6 hundred & 4 fifties from 36 innings since 2019 and will be crucial for India’s chances in the ICC WTC Final.
