Pakistan: The much anticipated ICC Cricket World Cup is around three months away from now. The biggest carnival in International cricket has kept everyone on their toes. The International Cricket Council (ICC) along with the Board of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) announced the official schedule of the tournament, which will take place in India for the first time since 2011. The ICC World Cup 2023 will be played from 5th October. A total of 48 matches will take place and 10 teams will fight for the title.

Many fans and pundits have touted Pakistan as one of the hot favourites to win the ICC World Cup 2023. They have been performing staggeringly well since the last few months and it’ll not be a surprise if they lift the title on 19th November.
The Men in Green will begin their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign on October 6 against Qualifier 1 in Hyderabad. They don’t have much travel after that as they will play their next match at the same venue against Qualifier 2 on October 12th. It’ll be a great opportunity for them for kick start their tournament on high.
After that, the biggest challenge awaits for them as they will be locking horns with India on 15th October at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Following the clash, they will go to Bengaluru to lock horns with Australia on October 20th before crossing swords with Afghanistan on 23rd October in Chennai. At the same venue, they will take on South Africa on October 27th.

The Babar Azam-led will then shift their bases to Kolkata, where they will take on Bangladesh on 31st October. New Zealand then will be awaiting them at Bengaluru on 4th November whereas they will return to Kolkata on November 12th to play their last league game against England.
