The former South African cricketer and current coach, Mark Boucher has a different image when it comes to his wicket-keeping skills. Boucher is regarded as one of the best wicketkeeper batsmen on the entire globe until now.

Boucher played for South Africa in all three formats after making his debut back in 1997. He has several wicket keeping records under his hat.

The most prominent of all is his record of most test dismissals. Boucher was effective in a total of 555 dismissals with 532 catches in his international career.

The 44 years old former cricketer also featured in several cricketing leagues all around the world. He represented Border, Warriors, Africa XI, ICC World XI, South Africa, and Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders as a first choice wicketkeeper during his international days.

His 13 years international cricketing career was put on hold after he suffered a severe eye injury as the bails hit his left eye. After the comprehensive examination, Boucher was ruled out of the whole series and after his successful eye surgery, he took his retirement from cricket.

During his cricketing days, he picked up 402 ODI catches in 295 games for South Africa.
