Ravichandran Ashwin launches attack on CSK fans, compares them to loyal RCB lovers

Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin has launched an attack on the fans of the team amid the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. He called the fans of Royal Challengers Bengaluru best, saying that they support their team in tough times, unlike CSK fans. 

Chennai Super Kings are having a tough time in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led are reeling at the bottom half of the points table as they have lost 4 out of their five games they have looked under massive pressure. 

CSK started the IPL 2025 on a high as they beat Mumbai Indians by a massive margin at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. However, after that, things haven't gone their way at all, as they faced four back-to-back defeats in the ongoing league. 

CSK then faced a disappointing loss against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at home for the first time in 18 years. Then after that, they went on to lose against Rajasthan Royals at Guwahati and then faced another loss to Delhi Capitals at their home. 

It was expected that CSK would come yo with the batter performance in the game against Punjab Kings. But the same fate unfolded for them as they went on to face another loss. Following this, they faced massive criticism, and many fans and pundits have lashed out at them for their poor performances. 

CSK players, in particular Ravichandran Ashwin, skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and others, have come under massive scanner. There have been calls to remove them from the team as well and they haven't been able to perform at their best in the league so far. 

RCB fans back their players even during tough times unlike CSK fans

With the team under massive pressure and criticism, Ravichandran Ashwin has voiced his opinion. He, while targeting CSK fans, said that they don't let any of their players down and they are the best in the world. Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: 

"Last year Dinesh Karthik said to me 'RCB fans won't let down any of their players' and I agree that fandom is about criticisms and keeping it real. I strongly believe real fans would not let their players down in any situations, that's real fandom. RCB fans are the best. They back their players even during tough times unlike CSK fans."
