In contrast, New Zealand surprisingly executed very poorly with both the bat and the ball against Australia, and Australia won the match by a huge margin of 97 runs, which undoubtedly helped Australia’s Net Run Rate at the start of the tournament. India reigned in a nail-biting match against Pakistan and won the match by 7 wickets.

Australia topped the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 Group-1 points table. Meg Lanning and co. upset Sri Lanka by 10 wickets on February 16 (Thursday) at St. George’s Park in Gqeberha.
